Control Plan
Adhering to a strict control plan for manufacturing of the products, we follow a three step process
- Incoming material inspection : The raw materials that are obtained from various sources such as steel mills are put under 100% visual examination. Besides chemical, physical and metallurgical tests, laboratory approval of the material as per the set standards and clients’ specifications is a must at our end. These tests include physical tests such as Upset test, tensile test and metallurgical tests like grain flow and microstructure.
- Process inspection : The materials are inspected at every stage of production such as die shop where dies are checked thoroughly, cutting shop where cut pieces are tallied with the required cut weight and forge shop where temperature of the furnace is controlled to a suitable limit.
- Final inspection : The forged parts are shot blasted for the final finish of the material. This is followed by dimensional inspection, layout and the final packing.
Quality Assurance
Being a quality conscious firm, we have formulated the set and advanced technology based testing procedure for testing every product on various parameters of quality and excellence. Quality testing procedure followed by us comprise of following steps
- Final inspection for every lot of manufactured product
- Registration of the results of the final inspection
- Inspection and testing of raw material received for processing
- Adherence to customer specification strictly during manufacturing and inspection
- Use of periodically calibrated instruments used in inspection procedures
- Registration of customer's complaints in proper form and letter followed by C & P action
- Final product packing allows full identification of material and lot number
- Rejected material kept separately and easily identified towards disposal/scrape
